학부모님께,
10월 1일은 한국의 명절 추석입니다. 코로나로 힘들었던 지난일들 잠시 접어두고 즐거움이 가득한 한가위 되시기 바랍니다.
◈ 지난 9월 27일에는 서북미협의회 주최로 진행된 행사들의 시상식이 진행되었습니다. 수상을 축하합니다.

◈ 9월 26일은 각 학년별로 온라인 수업을 위한 송편 만들기, 제기 만들기, 복주머니 만들기를 위한 재료들이 포함되어있는 학습꾸러미가 각 학생들에게 전달되었습니다.
매년 떡반죽으로 빚었던 송편 대신 색 점토로 송편을 빚었지만 올해는 온라인 화면 속에서 학생들과 송편을 빚으며 재미있는 이야기도 나누고 색다른 추석을 보냈습니다.
또한 제기 만들기, 복주머니 만들기, 한복 접기 등 다양한 온라인 수업 아이디어를 준비하여 유익하고 재미있는 추석 온라인 수업을 진행했습니다.

Dear Parents,
October 1st is the Korean holiday Chuseok.
WE hope this holiday momentarily took your mind off of difficult times due to COVID-19, and that Chuseok was a day full of joy.
◈ On September 26th a study package containing materials for making songpyeon, making paper, and making lucky bags for online classes for each grade level was delivered to each student. Songpyeon was made with colored clay instead of songpyeon made with rice cake dough every year. This year we made songpyeon with students on the online screen, sharing interesting stories during this year's different Chuseok. In addition, we prepared various online class ideas such as making Korean bean bags called "jaggies", making a lucky bag, folding hanbok, and conducted an informative and fun Chuseok online class.
◈ On September 27th an awards ceremony was held for events hosted by the North American Council. Congratulations on the award!
