학부모님께,
2월 12일은 한국의 명절 설날입니다.
행복과 웃음꽃 가득한 명절 보내시기 바랍니다.
새해 복 많이 받으세요.
지난주부터 2학기 첫 수업이 시작되었습니다. 학생들의 온라인 수업도 많이 익숙해졌고 학습 참여율도 매우 높았습니다.
학부모님들의 관심과 협조가 있었기에 가능한 일이었습니다. 어려운 시기에 힘이 되어주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.
1. 이번 주는 설날을 주제로 한 수업이 진행됩니다. 각 반 가정통신문을 확인하시고 담임 선생님의 안내에 잘 따라주시기 바랍니다.
2. 자녀분이 클래스 도조 플랫폼 수업에 적극 참여하도록 많은 관심 부탁드립니다. 2학기부터는 줌 화상 수업과 클래스 도조 자율학습에서 출석ㆍ일기ㆍ숙제ㆍ수업태도 등의 항목에서 포인트를 받게 됩니다. 적립된 포인트로 학기말 열리는 온라인 장날에 학생들이 원하는 물건을 구입할 수 있습니다.
3. 2021년 제10회 『백범일지』 독서 감상문 쓰기 대회에 많은 관심을 부탁드립니다. 초등부 4-5학년, 중고등부 6-12학년 학생 중 한국서 2년 이상 학교를 재학하지 않은 학생을 대상으로 합니다. 자녀분의 참여를 원하시는 분은 2월 12일까지 각 반 담임 선생님께 신청해 주시기 바랍니다.
4. 수업 시작 전, 배울 내용을 미리 살펴보시고 교과서와 필기도구를 챙기는 등 온라인 수업이 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록 학부모님의 협조를 부탁드립니다.
5. 한인생활상담소에서 진행하는 오뚝이 부모교육 참여자를 모집합니다. 0-5세 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 온라인으로 9주 동안 무료로 수업을 진행합니다.

February 12th is the Korean holiday, Lunar New Year's Day.

The first class of the second semester was last week. Students have adapted to online classes and there was a lot of participation in class. Classes would not have gone as smoothly without parents’ support. Thank you to everyone who encouraged our students during difficult times.
1. There will be a class about New Year's Day this week. Please check the newsletters of each class and follow the instructions of your children’s teacher.
2. Please be attentive to your children's participation on Class Dojo. Starting second semester, students will receive points during Zoom class and class self-study, with attendance, journal writing, homework, and classroom attitude. With the points they earn, students can purchase items they want on Online Market Day at the end of the semester.
3. We encourage you to participate in the 2021 10th annual Baekbeom Kimgu writing contest. Any student who has not attended school for more than 2 years in Korea during 4th through 12th grade in middle/high school can qualify. If you want your child to participate, please apply with your child’s teacher by February 12th.
