학부모님께,

2021-2022학년도 1학기에 등록해 주신 학부모님께 감사드립니다.

우리 교사들은  한국의 문화와 역사 언어교육을 통해 우리 꿈나무들이 한국인의 정체성과 자긍심을 가지고 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다 .

학부모님들께서도 우리 시애틀 통합 한국학교가 더욱 발전할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여 부탁드립니다.

개강은 9월 11일, 토요일입니다. 특활수업은 9월 18일부터 시작합니다.

이번 가을학기부터 유아/유치 학년은 대면 수업으로 전환이 되고 초등부터 중고등, 성인반은 온라인 수업으로 진행합니다.  우리 학생들과 교실에서 다시 모두 함께 만나 공부하는 날이 하루빨리 왔으면 합니다.

◈ 학부모님께 원활하고 효과적인 한국어 교육을 위해 몇 가지 부탁 말씀드립니다.
1) 자녀들을 많이 격려해 주시고, 자녀분들과 한국어로 대화하는 습관을 들여주세요.
2) 제시간에 등교 또는 온라인 수업 시간에 입장할 수 있도록 도와주세요.
3) 숙제를 하고, 준비물을 잘 챙기도록 도와주세요.

4) 초등 학년 수업은 2시간 30분 줌 수업과 1시간 자율학습으로 이뤄집니다. 자율학습은 Seesaw 플렛폼에 담임이 제공한 과제를 공부하고 기간 내에 제출하는 방식으로 진행됩니다. 줌 수업도 마찬가지이지만 1시간 자율학습도 담임의 꼼꼼한 학습 관리로 이뤄지며 제출된 과제는 성적에 반영됩니다.

5) 결석 시 담임 선생님에게 미리 알려주시고, 빠진 수업내용은 Seesaw플렛폼 또는 웹사이트(www.usbks.us)에서 확인해 주세요. .
6) 각 반 담임이 매주 전달하는 가정통신문을 꼭 확인해 주세요.

** 유아 유치 학년은 한복이 있는 학생은 한복을 입을 수 있도록 도와주시기 바랍니다.

환절기 건강 관리 잘하시고 늘 즐거움 가득 기쁨 가득하시기 바라며 9월 11일 개강날 반갑게 뵙겠습니다.

Dear Parents,

 

 

Thank you for registering for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

Our teachers will do their best to help students develop healthy Korean identities and pride through Korean culture, history, and language education.

We hope for parents to show interest and actively participate so that USBKS can develop as a school.

 

School starts on Saturday, September 11th. Enrichment classes start on September 18th.

 

Starting this fall semester, the preschool/kindergarten classes will be converted into in-person classes while elementary, middle, high school, and adult classes will be conducted online.  We hope the day when we can all study together in the classroom will come as soon as possible.

 

◈ Here are a few things we would like parents to know in order to facilitate smooth and effective Korean language education.

1) Please encourage your children and make a habit of talking to them in Korean.

2) Please help them enter in-person or online classes on time.

3) Please help them complete their homework and pack their supplies.

4) Elementary school classes consist of two and a half hours of Zoom and one hour of self-study. Self-study is conducted by studying/completing the assignments provided by the teacher on Seesaw and submitting them within the hour. The self-study period is carefully planned and managed by the teacher and the submitted assignments are reflected in the grades the same way Zoom classes are.

5) Please inform your student’s teacher in advance if they will be absent and check Seesaw or the school website (www.usbks.us) for the contents of the missed classes.

6) Please make sure to check the newsletter that each class teacher sends by email every week.
