학부모님께,

2022-2023학년도 1학기에 등록해 주신 학부모님께 감사드립니다. 황금 같은 토요일에 자녀분의 한국어 교육을 위해 한국학교를 보내주시는 학부모님의 귀한 정성에 존경과 감사를 드립니다. 그에 보답하기 위하여 우리 교사들은 한국의 문화와 역사 언어교육을 통해, 우리 꿈나무들이 한국인으로서의 정체성과 자긍심을 가지고 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다 .

학부모님들께서도 우리 시애틀 통합 한국학교가 더욱 발전할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여 부탁드립니다.

 

이번 새학기 부터는 린우드에 위치한 Former Alderwood Middle School에서 다시 수업을 시작합니다. 학교 주소 확인하시기 바랍니다.

1.   학교 시작은 9월 10일부터입니다. 수업 시간은 오전 9:30~오후 12:30입니다. 이번주는 특활수업 없습니다.

학생들은 9:20부터 입실이 가능합니다. 수업시간에 늦지 않도록 각별히 신경 써 주시기 바랍니다.

2.   

    9월 6일, 화요일에 자녀분의 임시반 이메일이 전달됩니다. 받으신 임시반 교실 번호를 꼭 확인하시기 바라며 수업 첫날은 임시로 배정된 반에서 배치 시험을 진행하게 됩니다. 자녀분의 반배정 결과는 9월 11일에 각 반 담임 선생님이 이메일로 전달합니다. 그 때 자세한 반 안내를 받으시면 됩니다.

3.   준비물: 필기도구, 물, 점심 (학교에서는 점심을 제공하지 않습니다. 각 자가 점심을 준비해야합니다.)

4.   등하교 시간은 통행차량이 많아 매우 혼잡합니다. 학교앞 노란색 라인은 주차가 금지되어 있습니다.

자녀분 drop off/pick up만 가능한 구역입니다. 적극적인 협조를 부탁드립니다. 귀중품은 반드시 소지하고 차 안에는 되도록 어떠한 물건도 두지마시기 바랍니다.

Dear Parents,

 

Thank you to the parents who registered for the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year. I would like to express my respect and gratitude to parents for sending their children to Korean schools for their Korean language education, even during valuable weekends. In return, our teachers will do their best to help our dreaming students develop a healthy sense of identity and pride as Koreans through Korean culture, history, and language education.

We ask parents for their attentiveness and participation at Korean School so that USBKS Seattle can continue to develop.

 

Starting this new semester, classes will resume at the Former Alderwood Middle School in Lynwood. Please double check the school address.

School starts on September 10th. Class times are 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Students can enter the building starting 9:20 AM. Please take care to not be late for class.

 

An email from your child’s temporary class will be delivered on Tuesday, September 6th. Please check the number of the temporary classroom your student was assigned. On the first day of class, a placement test will be given in the temporarily assigned class. The results of your child's official class assignment will be delivered by e-mail from the teacher of each class on September 11th. You will receive more detailed class information then.

 

Supplies: Writing utensils, water bottle, lunch (the school does not serve lunch. Each student should bring lunch.)

 

The transit may be crowded because of traffic. Parking is prohibited on the yellow line at the front of the school, as that is a student pick-up/drop-off zone only. We ask for your cooperation in this matter. Be sure to take your valuables and leave as few items in your car as possible.
