학부모님께,

2018-2019학년도 1학기에 등록해 주신 학부모님께 감사드립니다. 황금같은 토요일에 자녀분들을 위해 이렇게 시간을 내시고 정성을 들이시는 학부모님을 존경합니다. 그에 보답하기 위하여 우리 교사들은  한국의 문화와 역사 언어교육을 통해 , 우리 꿈나무들이 한국인으로서의 정체성과 자긍심을 가지고 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다 .학부모님들께서도 우리 시애틀 통합 한국학교가 더욱 발전할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여 부탁드립니다. 

 

◈ 학부모님께 원할하고 효과적인 한국어 교육을 위해 몇 가지 부탁 말씀 드립니다.

· 자녀들을 많이 격려해 주시고, 자녀분들과 한국어로 대화하는 습관을 들여주세요.

· 제 시간에 등교할 수 있도록 도와주세요.

· 숙제를 하고, 준비물을 잘 챙겨 올 수 있도록 도와주세요.

· 결석시 담임 선생님에게 미리 알려주시고, 빠진 수업내용은 웹사이트(www.usbks.us)에서 확인해 주세요. .

 

◈ 정규 수업만 하는 학생은 pick Up 시간이 12시, 특활반 학생은 1시 입니다.

 

◈ 우리 학교 건물이 아닌 Shoreline Christian School을  빌려서 사용하는 것이므로 각별히 조심해서 잘 사용해야합니다. 가정에서도 잘 교육시켜주시면 감사하겠습니다.

 

◈ 9월 22일 토요일 수업에는 한국의 명절인 추석 행사가 있습니다. PTA 주관으로 전교생이 송편을 만들고 떡을 먹을 예정입니다. 그리고 학년별, 반별로 추석에 관한 수업과 행사가 있습니다. 한복이 있는 학생은 한복을 입을 수 있도록 도와 주시기 바랍니다.

 

◈ 9월 29일은 No School  입니다.

 

◈ 학사 일정 첨부합니다.

 

 

Dear parents and families,

 

Thank you very much for registering for 2017-2018 Fall semester! I sincerely admire you for sending your children every Saturday, and supporting to keep their Korean heritage. Our teachers will do their best to teach Korean culture and history through a proper language course. Please continue to support our school with your attention and enthusiasm.

 

◈  We would like to ask you to follow the procedures listed below, to help us to provide better education more efficiently..

·         Encourage your children to speak or write in Korean, and also use Korean when you talk with your children.

·         Help your children to be in class on time.

·         Have your children do their homework and prepare class materials if needed.

·         In case of absence, please notify the teacher in advance, and you can visit the school website (www.usbks.us) to find summary of lessons and homework.

 

◈ Times to pick up -  regular class: 12:OO   /   enrichment class: 1:00pm 

 

◈ Please keep in mind that we are renting Shoreline Christine School’s facilities, and it must be treated with care. It would be appreciated if you remind your children to use the school facilities carefully.

◈ We will celebrate Korean Thanksgiving (추석, Choo-Suk) , September 22^nd. The PTA will provide the materials to make Songpyen (송편, Rick Cake) as part of the celebration. Students will play traditional games to experience Choo-Suk holiday.
Please dress your child in Hanbok, the traditional Korean clothing, if possible.
